THE MAN WHO ASKED FOR PERMISSION TO EXIST

Allan is a savvy young writer who knows how to use the system.  In three stories:  A meeting in a courtroom for failure to pay his bills; a charge of murdering an old lady, and; life in his prison cell on Christmas Eve, we see how Allan is able to "escape" by using his experiences to create a space where he is at peace.  A place in which he is able to do what he wants to do as opposed to what is expected of him. The play is translated into English and had a successful reading at the Scandinavia-On-Stage Festival in New York.
