JOY

When the self-effacing girl Karin losses her mother, her world falls apart. Her younger brother has  declared her incapable of looking after herself. He has arranged for a maid as her only social amusemen while he is away. Karin is left with herself and her loneliness, until she meets the homeless man: Johannes. “Joy” is a love story of people living on the edge of society and normality. A catching story about a woman’s right to her own life despite suffocating love, protection and control.
