Description
An aging woman is no longer as communicative as she once was. Is she losing her grip on reality or is her reality just changing? Her adult children agree to place her into care but worry about their decision. Is it right to hand mum’s care over to strangers? Shouldn’t they take her home and care for her, like she once cared for them? Or did she care for them?
Isakstuen’s warm and sensitive play explores the inevitable passage of time and our never-ending human longing for connection. Everyone has parents. Every adult is someone’s child.
